Charlie Spring is in Year 10 at Truham Grammar School for Boys. The past year hasn't been too great, but at least he's not being bullied anymore, and he's sort of got a boyfriend, even if he's kind of mean and only wants to meet up in secret.

Nick Nelson is in Year 11 and on the school rugby team. He's heard a little about Charlie - the kid who was outed last year and bullied for a few months - but he's never had the opportunity to talk to him. That is, until the start of January, in which Nick and Charlie are placed in the same form group and made to sit together.

They quickly become friends, and soon Charlie is falling hard for Nick, even though he doesn't think he has a chance. But love works in surprising ways, and sometimes good things are waiting just around the corner...

Il y avait tellement de bruits autour de ce livre que je n'ai pas pu résisté ! Je me suis dit que ce livre était sûrement sur-coté, que j'allais être déçue, qu'il ne fallait pas que je m'attende à des feux d'artifice, mais franchement je me suis trompée ! Ce livre est tellement doux, mignon, adorable, etc. J'ai tout de suite été conquise par les personnages, Nick et Charlie sont beaucoup trop précieux ! Tout est raconté avec simplicité, justesse et respect. Alice Oseman nous offre un magnifique début de romance et dénonce les clichés et les mauvais comportements. Ce roman graphique est un nuage, je vous le conseille pour les longs soirs d'hiver où vous aurez besoin de réconfort. La VO est vraiment accessible et si l'anglais ce n'est pas trop votre truc, le premier tome paraîtra cet automne en français chez Hachette. Même si la romance n'est pas vraiment ma tasse de thé, mon coeur a totalement fondu pour Nick et Charlie !
